Google Form Survey

Our group has conducted a google form survey for the effect of pandemic covid-19 on societies’ economies . This survey is open for one week from 18 May 2021 to 25 May 2021 and responded by a total of 30 people. The questions and the responses are shown in the figures below. Age? Based on the data we have collected, we know that our respondents are between 18-53 years old, with an average age of 32. Job? The bar chart above shows the job of the respondents. Challenges? The bar graph shows most of them experience pay cut (23.3%) and do not have much income (63.35%) during the pandemic of covid-19. Then, a worker in the restaurant industry and a salesman suffered unpaid suspensions due to the Movement control order (MCO). The other challenges are unemployment, company closed, no increment, increase of expenses, no incentive bonus, and raw materials prices increases. How to solve it?   Our societies’ economy started to decline since the government announced the Movement Control Order (MCO  1.0) on 18 March 2020. The pandemic of Covid-19 has strongly affected the societies’ economy due to the lockdown, in order to fight against the Covid-19. So we would like to discuss some initiatives that were taken by the government to overcome the financial difficulties of the Malaysian. Furthermore, we also like to suggest other alternatives to solve societies' financial problems.  The Impact of Pandemic Covid-19 on Societies' Economic. The societies’ economy began to decline during the beginning of Movement Order Control(MCO). It is because people cannot go out of the  house except they need to buy necessary needs and goods. And most of the people don’t have work because companies or business premises cannot operate during MCO. So, the consumers, workers, business owners struggle in this MCO. For the following months,   Condition Movement Control Order (CMCO) and Recovery Movement Order (RMCO) are conducted. Although the rules of CMCO and RMCO allowed certain companies and businesses to be open for customer service , the societies’ economics are also affected, because some people are willing to go out from home due to the rising cases or unstable coronavirus cases in our country.
