After watched video given by our Soft Skills lecturer, Dr Mahyuddin Ismail, we had be given instruction to begin our project, a current issue discovery. 

For our first meeting, we had discuss about

  • Project’s title & its reasons
  • Media we will used
  • Task : Interview.
  • Our group name.

1) Project’s title & its reasons.

After discuss with teammates, we decided our title, The  Impacts of Pandemic Covid-19 on Societies’ Economic. The reasons are:
  • Societies’ economic had deteriorated during pandemic Covid-19. Therefore, we would like to research about how it affects the societies’ lives.
  • Discuss about how do they get through the unendurable situation and how they overcome the problem.
  • Economy is important as it reflects the living standards of societies.

2)Media we will used.

We will use Blogger to update the information and reports. Is is because it is FREE and its functions are enough of us, compared to WordPress.

3)Task : Interview.

We discussed about the interview target, maybe worker or businessman. And the ways of interview conducted, maybe by

  • Interview through face to face
  • Interview via Google Meet
  • Making google form

But at the end, we decided to ask our lecturer again.

4) Group name 

Our group name is Alpha & Wolves.

Google Form Survey

Our group has conducted a google form survey for the effect of pandemic covid-19 on societies’ economies . This survey is open for one week from 18 May 2021 to 25 May 2021 and responded by a total of 30 people. The questions and the responses are shown in the figures below. Age? Based on the data we have collected, we know that our respondents are between 18-53 years old, with an average age of 32. Job? The bar chart above shows the job of the respondents. Challenges? The bar graph shows most of them experience pay cut (23.3%) and do not have much income (63.35%) during the pandemic of covid-19. Then, a worker in the restaurant industry and a salesman suffered unpaid suspensions due to the Movement control order (MCO). The other challenges are unemployment, company closed, no increment, increase of expenses, no incentive bonus, and raw materials prices increases. How to solve it?
